29 Shevat 5782 | כ''ט שבט ה''תשפ''ב
So fast...from when Esther went to the hospital during Shabbat Mishpatim until today, from what is said to be Covid-19-related illness, including sepsis.
[NOTE: No word on whether she was "vaccinated." As it should be. She lived with cancer for years, and I have heard that many people have died from a return of cancer, after taking the shot, that came on so fast they didn't have time to get treated. Thus, the following paragraph:
VAERS reveals through this OpenVAERS link to reports (to search for specific symptoms, press "Search COVID reports" and type in what you're looking for under "Symptom" towards the bottom of the form that will pop up on the left side of the screen.) that 663 people to date had cancer as a symptom after getting the shots. I haven't had time to figure out how many never even had cancer before, much less people in remission or still fighting an active case. But it is clear from reading the reports that many never had cancer before because it's not in their history.]
As a fellow breast cancer survivor, I had been praying for her speedy recovery and a great life for her and Jonathan, now that they've been here for over a year. But I haven't been fighting the breast cancer in the same way she had been. For more information, see here or here.
Esther's funeral, at Har haMenuchot in Yerushalayim, is about to take place as I type...hopefully I'll get this up in time for people who want to attend by video.
I've never done this before, so if we click the video and it doesn't reflect any action during the broad/pod/whatever kind of "cast" it is, we can still go there: Esther Pollard's Funeral

UPDATE: It was supposed to have been livestreamed more than 80 minutes ago, but the video still doesn't work. I was sitting there for an hour and a half (90 minutes) and nothing happened.
UPDATE: I was advised to try here on Twitter when I still couldn't get YouTube. No dice.
It could be that only a certain number of people can view these videos at once...or else something not so innocent is going on.
Hard to tell from here.

UPDATE before the funeral: A few words from Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, Women for Israel's Tomorrow, by email. Hebrew follows English:
Our dear friend Esther Pollard, the woman of steel, has left us.
Esther was an exemplary personality, who persisted to the end in achieving her goals.
Nothing could divert her even one millimeter from the path of freeing Jonathan from prison for the “sin” of loving the Land of Israel.
Despite the physical distance between them, Esther and Jonathan were one body and soul, joined by their great love for, and devotion to, the Land of Israel, without fear and without apprehension.
Esther knocked on the doors of world leaders, never resting for a moment.
When she was not traveling, she was organizing moving prayer vigils throughout the Land.
With her devotion, Esther succeeded in gaining a free and happy Jonathan here in the land of his forefathers, on whose behalf he sacrificed for more than thirty years.
They were together in this mission that united them, a mission that will remain in the nation’s memory forever.
May her memory be inscribed forever in the annals of the Jewish people.
Last summer we had the privilege of hosting Esther and Jonathan Pollard in Oz veGaon for the annual Sovereignty Youth conference. Jonathan and Esther were greeted with a royal reception by hundreds of youth.
