Sovereignty Now - not four years from now!

light of 17 Shevat 5780

On Thursday last week, right after US President Trump was acquitted from impeachment, which came after he revealed his "Deal of the Century," the Arabs here in Israel, including parts that aren't considered Israel by the rest of the world, gave their answer: Three terrorist attacks in one day.

I was almost witness to one of them, perhaps by minutes. I won't say which one here, but I can tell you that my Torah teacher could not get to where we were because the roads were blocked off as she was trying to get to the class by car. In the end she had to turn around and go home. I walked out of the place and continued until I could catch a bus.

One of the most negative things about Mr. Trump's deal is that Israeli Jews have to wait four years to allow the "Palestinians" to make up their mind about whether they accept it. That's not a quote, by any means; but that's how I understand it, and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo states this clearly, in so many words, in the interview with Ben Shapiro on the page linked to immediately above, toward the end of the video. I believe they gave their answer this past week, and will continue to give it, one way or another, until we make up our mind to divest them of their dreams of taking over our Land and making her Jew-free.

And, if some of them have Jewish ancestors who were forcibly converted to Islam, and still have Jewish mothers, they need to decide to be with us, not our enemy, and PROVE THEIR LOYALTY. I'm thinking about the work done by Tzvi miSinai. He says that 90% of the Arabs who live on our territory are descended from Jews who were forcibly converted centuries ago. What good is that if they think they're better than we are, and still dream of being shahidim? I find it odd that some of these families live in the village of Yatta, the place where the murderer of Ari Fuld, z"l, came from.

Fortunately, we have begun taking a harder stand against our terroristic neighbors. Those who attempted murder were killed at each scene, no questions were asked and no soldier was prosecuted for defending the state (that is, the people). We have a new Defense Minister, and my colleague Neshama speculated recently whether he might be Mashiah ben Yosef, as well as following his activities since he took the position.

Those who have followed Israel for many years can attest that these people who call themselves by a name that means Invaders or Squatters (thanks to the End of Days/Years of Awe Rebbe), who claim to be the indigenous owners of the Land of Israel, have sought to divest us not only from the Land, but from our very lives. I, for one, would say that last week's events are the answer, and we in Israel must respond appropriately, or else be taken over by events.

Sovereignty NOW! Women in Green's Sovereignty Youth movement marched for it last week. Even if we don't succeed, at least this is a vote for not dividing the Land!

Possibly because of — or despite — all our efforts, perhaps the system we've been enduring for the past 70-plus years will come crashing down, with Mashiah ben David being revealed in time to save the day and take real sovereignty as it was meant to be, with the help of G-d.

Meantime, Devash has offered some practical steps to cope with negative outcomes due to current events. She also posted a music video that I'd like to share too!
