Could This Be the Last Conflict Before Geula?

Rosh Hodesh Shevat 5786 | ראש חודש שבט ה'תשפ"ו

...with the help of Heaven | בס"ד

The whole earthly reason the Jewish people are oppressed is because the nations, especially the ruling secular governments, even more than the Christians and the Muslims (as if this weren't enough, already, with very few exceptions), don't want us to have our place in the world. Weakness, smallness and dependency are their watchwords for us. They were genuinely afraid when, over this past summer, we were temporarily victorious in the Middle East, some even calling us the "hegemon" of the Middle East.

It doesn't mean we won't win in the end, but perhaps we've been delayed for a while. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer. R' Pinchas Winston wrote an article in 5772 ( called Interpreting Signs: Parashas Vayechi about the approximate time period when tichiyat hametim (resurrection of the dead) could happen, 214-210 years before the year 6000. According to this, all the Jews have to be here by 5790 (four years from now).

In truth, we haven't been ready for our final deliverance for a very long time. A great many here, as our state sits on the Holy Land of Israel, the Jews with many levels of relationship with God relying on her merit paired with their observance — those who consider themselves to be the "adults in the room" and who haven't been the majority in the nation for quite some time — don't want to see the Kingdom of Israel rise, along with our laws ensuring adherence to the Torah, replete with explanations in the Prophets and Writings as to why these laws exist and are necessary.

Lately, their self-perceptions, and the actions that followed, which have been backed by the United Nations and other international organizations, have been challenged and found wanting. The judgments and the consequences the secular-oriented governances around the world have not yet been rendered.

Because their system still stands for the time being, we don't have a real chance to prove how effective Jewish Law, and its non-Jewish component, the Seven Noahide Laws, would be in ensuring that goodness and justice win in the world.

Thus, our vulnerability.

***

Some variables to consider:

Christians are very good at getting people scared about going to hell; I know this from personal experience. Many times people are so scared that they don't think about the implications of believing the way the believers in Jesus are directing them to do...let's begin at the beginning, the way they usually present their religion and their man-g-d.

(For modern readers,  "beget" is an old English word that has to do with the male's part in reproduction. The word that indicates this in Hebrew is "zera" (זרע), or seed. Nowadays, it's used in a gender-neutral way concerning concepts. See here for more details on beget, and much more.)

As for Islam: No matter how much their laws resemble ours, we must not make the mistake of  thinking that they would enforce them in the same way.

Islam's laws are more similar to Jewish Law; in fact, many of them ARE OUR LAWS. It's the way they are enforced under Islam, rather the opposite from how we were commanded to do so if our current governance were not in the way, that makes the difference.

Have you noticed that they've been making an open attempt to conquer Europe — they may have succeeded there already — and the United States — they've only just begun in New York City and other places there...? It's part of their grand strategy.

We are looking at a perfect example of another strategy, currently ongoing in Iran. There is much to sympathize with, particularly regarding their civilian population.

In fact, Iran (formerly PERSIA..sound familiar?) was taken over, by Muslims who don't seem to have come from there, in 1979. We can see this by the uprising happening as I type; the orders of the leadership seem to have no regard in them for the civilian population, reportedly arresting over 2,000 and killing 27 as of 6 January 2026, and killing at least 217 from 28 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. These numbers include children: 6 in the first link. The second doesn't mention them.

It's interesting to see all the ethnicities in Iran nowadays; religiously, most of their families were not Muslims in 1979, when the Muslims took it over. (See Wikipedia there.

Also, most of the Muslims who lead the country today are not Persians. A prime example is the supreme leader himself: Seyyed Ali Khamenei is Azeri (family from Azerbaijan).

A chilling Israel Realtime update on 11 January cites human rights organization estimates to be 2,000 to 6,000 killed.

I take this trend estimate to possibly mean the Iranian leadership doesn't care about them because they are not related to them. The people of the land Iran sits on, we should know and remember, are PERSIANS. They come from an indigenous civilization: different from ours, but still originating in the region. Their current leadership isn't directly related nationally to most of the people they rule over.

(Similarly, it's possible that the world is confused over the Jews of Israel because certain parts of our leadership don't relate to us citizens much better than the Iranian leadership does with the Persian population.)

I'd like to note that it is the Persian Iranian civilians who have been on Israel's side for quite a long time now. I suspect their "government" knows this too. As I've been writing this article, the death toll has increased a lot.

I'm not the only one (certainly, there are many others who know better than I). Avi Abelow, on behalf of one of his media outlets, Israel Unwired, wrote this excellent article about how Iran's revolution is unraveling (unfortunately, at great cost to the civilian population, which might be far greater than anything posted on news sites).

A more penetrating article about the history and situations a civilian in Iran might remember and encounter is Iran: "The Final Battle" by Dr. Anjuli Pandavar (who's now on Substack, by the way. See below.).

And here's another point to consider: While today most Western-cultured nations have mixed populations, in other parts of the world it isn't quite so much that way. I found it interesting that most other parts of the world's nations have only one people in them.

***

Now, I have what might be the best news, from Tomer Devorah (blog link below): The Year of Our Redemption. I also found and gave her blog a link to an Israeli rabbi, Reuven Elbaz, who is confident that geula is not long from now

Independently, a second person found the same link and posted it there not long after. The comments to the rabbi's article reflect optimism in this regard. I will add that even if it doesn't come true exactly the way he worded it, there might be another way that it will, with the help of God.

When the Ribono shel Olam (Ruler over Creation) finally takes His place openly, the secular organizations that oversee and overrule much of the religious world, will have to go away in one way or another, or even the other.

And, there won't be any time to convert to Judaism (or whatever our way of life will be called then) because only when we're down do we accept converts. The reason is that they must convert only because they're convinced it's the truth and they want a real relationship with God, not because we're the "top dog."

Continuous war or sovereignty? The current question in Israel.

20 Tishrei/Tashri 5786 | כ' תשרי התשפ"ו
6th of the 7 days of Succoth

 ***

Online pics have recently become more aggressively sales-oriented...so no more with articles unless I take them myself. Sorry about that.

 ***

Most of us choose sovereignty, from what I've been reading and hearing...so why hasn't HaShem let us have it? He turns the hearts of the leaders...or are they too stubborn to listen?

Well, how much have we learned in the last two years, the aftermath of the October Seventh Massacre so far?

  • Will we ever have peace without our Biblically-mandated homeland(s) that include Yehuda, Shomron and Aza?
  • Will we ever have peace without total victory over ALL the enemy organizations among the nations, whether Xian or Muslim?
  • Will we ever have peace with the current system, which includes a military leadership that often seems to favor the other side's victory, even in public?
  • And do the nations, especially the USA, understand yet that whoever divides Eretz Yisrael is in BIG, BIG, BIG trouble? Apparently NOT! (See the SEARCH for lists of Biblical references, not only Jewish, but also Xian ones — see explanation below.*)

Did we learn yet that every single Jew who lives in Eretz Yisrael needs to consider the Kingdom of God to be our proper governance system — and let go of the idea that it's equivalent to Iranian (or any other kind of) Islam???

Especially, that our current governance does not allow for a Jewish victory over our enemies, but rather war after war after war, ad nauseam.

The one thing I think (you don't have to believe what I think, but you do have to think about your own reality, and your understanding of our blood enemy) is that Islam is both very much like Judaism, and radically the opposite as well.

It has the same rules, but they are followed very differently. Anything we would consider a sin, they feel comfortable doing, as long as it is justified as "for Alla". Stealing, lying, murder and much more are all included, even though they have courts — all against, and opposite, the Ten Commandments.

A funny thing: If I were to translate the last sentence into Hebrew, the word NEGED נגד means both "against" and "opposite" and would certainly be included.

Furthermore, things they do, they accuse us of doing...stealing land that belongs to the Jews is at the top of the list, necessitating the war of genocide against the Israeli Jews that they've been perpetuating, with the help and encouragement of the rest of the world, ever since we started returning home as a nation.

That's at least 120 years ago.

Avi Abelow (of the Pulse of Israel and Israel Unwired) spells out clearly here what he sees as the result of the "deal" to bring the hostages home, the dead as well as the living.

And somehow, I think they "won't be able to find all the dead bodies" — liars that they are. I just pray that all the living ones are still alive when they're returned to us, and that the ones that are not, will be found quickly and delivered whole.

If we don't claim sovereignty over our lands and act upon it, the gentiles are doing so on their own behalf!

Happy Succoth and a good and sweet year to all my people around the world as well as Israel! And may the culmination of our troubles begins now.

*I tried to get sources that speak of dividing the Land of Israel, like this term: "God says specifically not to divide Israel - Jewish bible sources only" — and the search engine still came up with Xian sources along with the Jewish sources, even though they don't actually quote or refer to them. At least they admit that the Bible says in many places that they will be judged for dividing up our Land for their purposes.

So, if you need to read something that lists all the references to HASHEM's command NOT TO DIVIDE MY LAND, you may safely ignore the Xian sources and read only the Jewish ones within the linked pages.

It seems I have no choice in this matter, if my goal is to get us to the place where we can identify quickly where God forbids dividing or eliminating Israel.

Recently I wrote about the origins of Mashiach HERE, which the Xians don't refer to in their writings, as far as I can tell.

Respect! Why doesn't Israel receive it?

17 Tammuz 5784 | י"ז תמוז ה'תשפ"ד

May we have an easy and productive fast!

Click here to watch MK Dan Illouz on X.com speak in English to the international community about a Palestinian state.

I wrote most of this article on 15 Tammuz 5784, 21 July 2024. I believe it will be a day to remember, if the right things are done now.

Lots of people love to blame the current government, wherever they are in the world, for anything that's going wrong. This might be true in most countries, but here in Israel it's not any one particular government. It's the governance system. The same mistakes occur over and over and over, no matter which party or group of parties is in power.

Someone, or many someones, outside our political system — and outside our country — must have been giving, and still be giving today, the same orders to both sides.

Hopefully, as of now, we will begin to see a shift in policy regarding the Jewish people's continued return home to Eretz Yisrael.

We need to get our eyes off of whether Labor (recently changed to the Hebrew equivalent of "The Democrats" and merged with Meretz), or Likud, wins.  The whole system is wrong, whether borrowed or imposed from polluted sources, and will never get us anywhere.

Which implies, if not actually states, that our governments have been selling us, the people of Israel, "down the river" the whole time.

That would be traitorous, wouldn't it?

And the results are in. It happened on 19 July:

The declaration on the part of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that Judea and Samaria are off limits to the Jews and the State of Israel. (<<< download the PDF from the link)

How did one of the international courts attached to the United Nations suddenly get the message to publicly state, via an advisory opinion, that Judea and Samaria don't belong to the Jews at all?

That's aside from the fact that it's been called "the West Bank" for a long time, and not by its proper and legal name.

Was it pressure from the Arabs, from the United States, from the UN itself? This statement is not binding as law. However, it encourages agencies higher up to try to make it international law.

I say "try to" because there will be repercussions from any attempt to legally take away Jewish land from the Jews; I think that's why Britain, with impunity, unceremoniously lopped off what became Jordan from the Palestinian Mandate, which at that time referred ONLY TO LAND FOR THE JEWS.

We haven't seen the open wrath of the All Mighty One in our favor in a very long time. Maybe now is the time?

It certainly wasn't from a recent study of the roots of the peoples of the Middle East in the Bible, where the answers are clearer and more proof of its truth shows up practically every day. And it wasn't from international law: See the Balfour Declaration and the San Remo Conference of 1920 (download PDF there, if you can). More about the San Remo Conference (search)

Now, to the point...

...is it possible that the governments of Israel, over decades, contributed to the impression that we were so subservient to "international bodies" that they felt they could just come and take away any recognition of Judea and Samaria as part of Israel? How did this signal get to them?

Just perhaps, by our governments punishing and over-punishing Israel's own Jewish citizens just for living in these areas (this may be the only article to sympathize with Amiram Ben Uliel's plight, brought on by our courts accepting his confession under torture, online as I'm writing, from 2022, for example) more than those who live within the "Green Line," and all the ICJ did was put down the first step for higher courts to formalize?

(And this, just in on 17 Tammuz...our Supreme Court accepted an Palestinian Arab land claim near Hevron, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are buried along with (most of) the mothers of our people. How can we expect world legal bodies to have the respect our nation deserves when our government and legal "representatives" can't be bothered to set the example? I'm shaking my head over this masochistic behavior!)

Back to the international court...

Apparently...The ICJ cannot define "occupied Palestinian territory" — but it tries very hard. And, the EU deplores Israeli democracy. Especially when we disagree with them on whether or not we should let people live among us who want us dead and do their best to make it so.

And back to our official response...

We see that, finally, on 15 Tammuz 5784, 21 July 2024, that our Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, submitted a declaration rejecting the ICJ's ruling on "occupation." Four days prior, the Knesset voted, and established its position against, a Palestinian state

Good for you! No Israeli leader or influencer, whether politician, jurist, or advisor (much less a blogger), has any mandate to bow, or advocate bowing, to even the most overwhelming international pressure to give away the land most of the Jewish Bible (called the Tana"ch here) refers to!

(We should note here that the responsibilities and decisions of the Knesset have been under attack from other branches of our government for years, especially our judiciary branch. Are we so ignorant of what a real democracy is that we would ignore this issue?)

...and how do we show that we mean it?

I hope the rest of the Israeli government listens up. I believe our upper-level leadership has been part of the problem all along. If they don't take heed, they can't be part of our future.

(By "upper level," I'm referring to those who give orders, even having the temerity to dictate to the prime minister or president, providing that these are of sound mind in the first place. Advising the leader of your country is one thing, dictating to him is something else.)

At least since 1969 if memory serves (sorry, no internet then, thus no accessible link from here), radio shows in the United States and other places were still criticizing Jews for walking around and feeling at home in Judea and Samaria two years after the 6-Day War. Our enemies lost, and until now our government has never learned its lessons from that war, or any of the others where we were saved by "deus ex machina" as they might call it.

Dear readers, you and I know better: God is real, and it is He who really won the war for us in 1967, and many others as well. Even our enemies admitted it then, and get frustrated now when it's obvious to them that God acts in our favor, even when many of us don't follow His ways. But our governments have not only been ungrateful, they actually attributed our victory in 1967, and those afterwards as well, to the greatness of our army!

"Give credit where credit is due" is one of the maxims of common decency, which translates to derekh eretz here.

So, let's not respond to the decrees of the nations, but rely on HQB"H.

I think it is better not to respond to whatever the nations say at all regarding our government's response. Certainly, neither we nor our government should not take out our feelings about their statements on the people of Israel, even if we don't agree on where Israel begins and ends. We have to wonder why, all of a sudden, our government is actually sticking up for the legitimacy of Judea and Samaria due to the direct attack by the ICJ. But the best response is no response at all. We can carry on without letting everyone in the world, including the media, know what we're doing, day to day. Who knows, it might save many of our lives that might otherwise be lost. Loose lips sink ships, after all, as was said during WWII.

Democracy may (or may not) work in other parts of the world, but definitely not here.

A family that is living here right now somewhere in this country holds the distant descendant of King David's unbroken male line, who is the heir to his throne. If he passes away, another will arise from that line; that's how we can say that Mashiah has been available, and could have come to Am Yisrael, in every generation. That's who Mashiah is, and his government will be the only truly legitimate one, recognized by all, here.

May we live to see it, with the love and help of God; let us all acknowledge Him.

Former Prison Director Shatters Lies Regarding Terrorists...and Intensification of Terror against Jews — guest post by Myrtle Rising

4 Shevat 5784 | ד' שבט ה'תשפ"ד

Blogger's note: Used by permission.

The full title of this (very recent at this writing) guest post by Myrtle Rising is:

Former Prison Director Betty Lahat Shatters the Lies Fed to Us regarding Terrorists, Prisoner Conditions for Terrorists, Humanitarian Assistance, and the Complicity of the Media and Officials in the Intensification of Terror against Jews

She also wrote a post prior to this one about...well, I'll include Myrtle's own introductory words on this:

"...a particularly shocking excerpt about the whole Shalit episode from Moran Corse's larger interview with former director of Israeli prisons, Betty Lahat:
myrtlerising.weebly.com/blog/the-truth-behind-the-5-year-shalit-phase-release-exchange-plus-who-really-called-the-shots-during-that-time-you-wont-believe-who-to-what-extent

What follows now is a summary of the rest of the interview, in Hebrew for women only:
https://www.hidabroot.org/article/1189663

It's quite illuminating as Betty has inside information she saw and heard first-hand.

Please prepare yourself for a lot of ugly shockers."

Let this sink in before reading the body of the post. My comments follow. —HDG

The General Perks for Terrorists in Israeli Prisons, Plus Their Usual Menus

Betty describes prison for terrorists as "a warm, safe place" with the following perks:
  • decent meals
  • a rich & varied canteen to supplement their decent meals
  • time outside for fresh air and exercise
  • free high-quality health care (including life-saving complex surgery in Israeli hospitals)
  • free dental care
  • free studies
  • access to terror-supporting "lawyers" (who really act as agents for the terrorists to pass on orders and plots for further terror)
  • access to cable TV with a wide variety of channels

Their day starts with breakfast and access to canteens, where the PA (Palestinian Authority) deposits money for them.

(And they don't just support the actual terrorists. Terrorists' families also receive financial support from the PA. The more blood a terrorist has on his hands, the more financial support his family receives.)

How is this money transferred to the terrorists in prison?

Why, via Bank HaDoar, of course!

Every terrorist holds an account in Bank HaDoar (Israel Postal Bank). That's where the PA deposits money for the terrorists to enjoy canteen, studies, and books.

The prison canteen holds a rich and varied selection meant to improve the food options in prison.

Their standard fare resembles standard army food, only even better than that.

Terrorists also enjoy cooking platters inside their cells, which is how they improve their meals even more.

Why do terrorists responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of Jews enjoy better meals than Israeli soldiers?

Why can't these terrorists at least subsist on the dogfood-like meals Yehonatan Pollard received in his initial maximum security prison?

Especially since Betty claims the mere fact we try to prove ourselves as more humane and nicer doesn't work — but produces the opposite effect:
With all the improved conditions we gave them, they despise us, they smirk at us, they laugh at us.

[Sinwar] even stated, "This is your duty."

Leftist Media + Barbaric Terrorists = Lots of Brutalized or Dead Jews

As mentioned, the terrorists enjoy access to cable TV with tons of channels.

Chillingly, Betty saw the terrorists often watch Israeli TV in order to understand the nation's mood and to analyze how to proceed with their own interests.

They know all the political pundits, policy makers, and security officials by name.

She says they do all this because they understand our "weak" points, that we are "rachmanim bnei rachmanim — compassionate people who are the scions of compassionate people."

She says of Sinwar:
He prepared himself for years in prison.

He didn't rest for a moment. He established gangs within the prisons, which were meant to battle against us in the future.

And that's what we're seeing. That's what's happening today.

Most of his headquarters employ those same people he worked to free in the last deal.
With the exception of Channel 14, the Israeli news outlets lean Left and hold powerful sway over the weak-minded, more materialism-oriented, Torah-ignorant minds in Israel (which is how the media cultivates the Left-wing bloc; the Israeli Right tends to attract stronger minds and encompasses religious Jewry, a highly Torah-educated bloc).

According to Betty, the Left-leaning media played right into the hands of the terrorists, revealing weak spots and ways to manipulate the Israeli public.

As Betty notes:
...all those disagreements and advice we give via the media – these hurt us in the end.

For they enable them to understand where our weak points lie.
It was these imprisoned terrorists who helped orchestrate the demonstrations & negotiations from inside in favor of Gilad Shalit, knowing their day of liberation would coincide with Shalit's day of liberation.

Out of those 1200 terrorists freed, 41 had murdered 570 Jews.

The terrorist leaders chose exactly which ones one by one and chose the most lethal ones — with the full knowledge of the Israeli authorities. (Betty protested this — along with a whole lot of other deadly policies — but was constantly overruled.)

Sinwar himself helped the Israeli authorities decide which terrorists will be released.

Yeah — the guy who orchestrated the Barbaric Horror against the Jewish communities near the Gazan border. HE got to pick which one his men would get released.

As Betty asserts:
Our officials, flesh of our flesh, come to build up his leadership in order to release him and to appoint him to be the substitute of the Holocaust denier, Abu Mazen.
At least 2 of those released terrorists directly involved themselves in the orchestration and execution of the Great Slaughter.

These released terrorists didn't stay in Israel and Gaza. They went to Syria, Turkey, and Qatar to continue their terrorist strategies such as organizing terror groups to attack Jews worldwide.

So even a terror attack against Jews halfway across the world can possibly be traced back to the Shalit prisoner exchange in 2011 — and the complicity of most Israeli newscasters (except Channel 14) and certain Israeli authorities who oversaw the exchange.

She claims that just as with Gilad Shalit, terrorists are still controlling the process with the current hostage situation.

Mighty Martyr for Allah or Big Crybaby Bunny? You Decide!

Betty interacted directly with Sinwar during the length of his prison "holiday."

She remembers when cancer developed near his brain stem — and she recalls how Medinat Yisrael strove to save his life, providing him with top-notch hospital care and expensive complex surgery to remove the cancer.

Betty destroys the popular notion of these "fearless martyrs for Allah" who hold no fear of death:
No, they are afraid of death...Yahya Sinwar is obsessed with his own life.

And he's just a big crybaby bunny.

I saw him when he broke down when he knew he had cancer, how he cried – like a spineless weakling, he sobbed.
Good to know.

I also love her description of him as a "crybaby bunny — shafan bachyan."

Maybe that's how I'll refer to him in future posts, rather than his name.

(If I post about him, that is. When I mention him, I feel the same as when I talk about maggots.)

And for a host of reasons (including those mentioned above, about us being oh-so humane), it's a huge tragedy that they didn't let nature take its course and leave the sick sucker rot to death.

Why go to such extremes to preserve his pathetically evil life?

And who are the members of the medical team who agreed to participate in such a travesty?

(It could easily be they were never told the patient's name until after the operation. After all, there was a lot of manipulation going on. Perhaps the medical staff were victims of it too.)

Why "Humane" Prisons Don't Work for Terrorists

Betty also rips the façade off the "lawyer" visits.

Many terrorists are serving multiple life sentences. What do they need lawyers for? Is it helpful if the lawyer reduces 7 life sentences to 2 life sentences?

And the terrorists already enjoy far cushier conditions in Israeli prisons than terrorists deserve.

The lawyers can't ask for better treatment.

In general, these terrorists have no legal needs.

So what purpose do these "lawyers" serve?

Regarding these fake lawyer visits, Betty states:
This is something we screamed about for years and years.

But in our justice system — I don't know if you heard this name, Shai Nitzan, who was the State Prosecutor— we actually tried during his time to install procedures to curb their "rights" — both those of the lawyers and also regarding the conditions of their imprisonment, and so on.

But Medinat Yisrael is apparently — I say apparently because for us, it's exactly the opposite — it is apparently a country that is humane.

And it wants to enable the prisoners to thrive within prison and these aren't the right prisoners for that...
In contrast to her justifiably strong stand against comfortable conditions for terrorists, Betty is very in favor of rehabilitation for regular prisoners and sought to implement programs to achieve this goal when she worked with Jewish prisoners.

And she comes down hard against the much-bantered claim of: "The fact that you've taken their freedom is punishment enough."

They don't feel punished at all.

In fact, they view all the nicey-nice in Israeli prisons as affirmation of their terrorist beliefs!

As Betty asserts their view of all the prison comforts:
It's some kind of form of requesting forgiveness for having stolen their land from them.

And they don't believe in it.

With all the improved conditions we gave them, they despise us, they snicker at us, they laugh at us.

[Sinwar] even stated: "This is your duty."
Betty recalls when new & idealistic guy came to work at the prison; he wanted to engage in dialogue with the terrorists.

The militants told him outright that there would never be peace as long as the Jews live on "their" land, only hudna is possible.

"You guys need to turn over all the land [to us]," they said. "We need to be in charge or there will never be peace."

"Let's Not Transform Them into Such Great Heroes. They ARE Afraid – and They Want to Live."

What about the common claim of "Harsh conditions and death sentences provide no deterrent! They deal fine with harsh conditions and do not fear death!"

Based on her interactions with the terrorists, Betty absolutely disparages such claims:
No, they are afraid of death.

If Yahya Sinwar wasn't afraid, he would come out of his den, he would come outside...and anyone who tells you it's not so?

Yahya Sinwar is obsessed with his own life.

And he's just a big crybaby bunny.

I saw him when he broke down when he knew he had cancer, how he cried – like a spineless weakling, he sobbed.

So let's not transform them into such great heroes.

They ARE afraid – and they want to live.

They have their religious belief and their religious belief enables them to come and commit acts of murder and the like.
Betty explains how "Crybaby Bunny" operates in the background, sending others to carry out his blood-soaked dirty work, causing others to take the fall for his ideas and plots.

He carefully manipulates everything behind the scenes to protect his own life.

Everyone else can die — except him.

Another reason why the fact of curbing their freedom (which isn't much curbed as shown above) doesn't work revolves around how Arabs living outside remain well-aware of the comfy conditions within the prison because the prison allows the terrorist so many visitors (and not just the fake lawyers).

So what does Betty recommend for genuine deterrence?

Effective Recommendations to Deter Terror

She wants Israeli prisons to imitate the American prisons for terrorists — meaning, the terrorists remain locked in their cell all day and receive minimum food.

Interestingly, she emphasizes the importance of following the American prison model for terrorists, and not the Arab model (a far crueler model). I guess for the sake of the prison wardens, who could be damaged by following the cruel and inhumane Arab prison model.

Yet Betty emphasizes the death penalty isn't the only deterrence. Heavy punishments and much harsher prisons can make a huge difference.

(At the very least, prisons can prevent imprisoned terrorists from orchestrating terrorism and manipulating Israeli society.)

She also recommends prisons to stop trying so hard to change the terrorists' ideology.

She adds:
We must carry out the death penalty to all the terrorists who enter.

And to whoever says, "That doesn't deter; after all, they commit suicide terror" – it DOES deter!

And oh, how it does deter them!

Where Lies the Root of All This Evil?

But why are Israeli authorities so blind to all this?

Why does the majority of the media, the top-ranking military leaders, the politicians, and other officials still push the false beliefs regarding deterrents and how to prevent the slaughter of Jews?

Why do they persist in pursuing "strategies" that clearly not only don't work, but make everything so much worse?

Moran Corse brought up the root of the evil: the Wexner Foundation (known in Hebrew as "Keren Vaksner"). She claims no one can advance to the top of Israeli society unless they attend courses at the Wexner Foundation.

Only familiar with the term and knowing nothing about Wexner, I listened avidly to Betty's description of how they influence Israeli society:
Every person who is an alumnus of the Wexner Foundation is an administrator in our army today and also in the security apparatus, the Shabak, the foreign ministry, the commanders in chief, and the entire upper echelon of the IDF.
Going into much more detail about it, Betty notes that all the "progression" and humanitarianism of the USA is brought over to Israel via Wexner:
Everyone thinks the same.

No one strives to win and destroy our enemy.

We carry out yet another military operation and yet another military operation, and we yet again concern ourselves with their subsistence and we say, "Well, if we don't give them parnasa, then they'll come and harm us."

We gave them parnasa.

Benet and Lapid raised the number of Gazans allowed entry into Israel for employment by tens of thousands.

And what happened?

Why did they come and slaughter us on Simchat Torah?

What happened?

It's intolerable that as we as a country bring our dead to burial every single day, we also nurture their murderers inside the prisons.
Needless to say, it's not as if the Israeli attendees are blind or brainwashed.

They attend these sessions fully aware of the goals behind the sessions.

The attendees do so out of greed for power — nothing more and nothing less.

Everyone understands the goals and the results.

It is simply a partnership between the Israeli Erev Rav and the American Erev Rav.

You cannot blame one without blaming the other.

Two of the Gazan Children Treated Wonderfully by Jews in Jewish Hospitals Grew into Terrorists who Murdered Jews

Even outside the prison, Betty saw how all the humanitarianism worked against the innocent citizens of Israel.

For example, Betty's young daughter of blessed memory suffered a battle against cancer, leading to her hospitalization in the children's ward of Schneider hospital.

Betty herself witnessed dedicated Jewish volunteers from Kibbutz Be'eri bring Gazan Arab children for treatment at Schneider.

Betty watched how they poured tons of love and warmth on their ill Muslim Gazan charges.

And later, Betty met 2 of those loved and cared for children as young men in the terrorist prison:
And those two who were cured there – they became terrorists.

They were arrested for acts of terror.
Does that even register in the rational mind?

How is that people who, as children, were treated with such warmth and compassion by Israeli Jews, who owe the very lives to the kindness and expertise of Israeli Jews, decided to murder Israeli Jews?

Friends of Betty, who work in the children's ward of a hospital, described to her how they see the Arabs who come for treatment go hide under the stairwell and burn Israeli flags.

Based on the above, Betty states:
I do not believe in their "innocent bystanders."

I hold no compassion for them.

"Whoever is Compassionate toward the Cruel will End Up being Cruel toward the Compassionate."

There are so many lies and truths revealed here, it's hard to summarize them properly.

Betty comes off as a wonderful, intelligent, and caring person. She did everything she could to deter terror and save lives.

(Tachlis, in Jewish prisons, she definitely guided the system toward rehabilitation, rather than punishment — because it worked. Most of the prisoners WANTED to improve themselves.)

But in some ways, the Israeli authorities handcuffed her more than the terrorists.

We need to pay close attention to her observations, garnered via years of experience.

And her experiences tragically reflect the age-old Torah dictum:

"Whoever is compassionate toward the cruel will end up being cruel toward the compassionate."

May Hashem shine the light of Geula on us all and bring the Geula speedily b'rachamim.

HDG: Amen to your b'racha, Myrtle. This whole article and its previous one describes Israel's prison system (if not the entire government, and if not the entire country, has"v) as displaying aspects of dhimmitude, the rule of Muslims over others, in my view. Here's a good description: The Dhimmitude of the West: A New Trajectory. How close to it are we, and how did we get anywhere near there?

Supposedly, dhimmitude was abolished in 1839 (in the Ottoman Empire, which the Holy Land, then known as "southern Syria" and "southern Palestine (this according to Wikipedia)," was part of until 1922. The title looks like Turkish to me, and Bat Ye'or never wrote anything about dhimmitude being limited to the Ottoman Empire. Muslims ruling anywhere use it.).

Is it a fulfillment of prophecy — the one that specifically says that Yishmael will rule over the Jews for nine months? Now that we're here, this would be the best scenario because we are in the third trimester of this "pregnancy" during a "pregnant" year, with two months of Adar.

Is this the real reason for the Gerush of Gush Katif and Northern Shomron in 2005? Did this start in 1990, when Aharon Barak came up with the "reasonableness" standard for the Supreme Court?

Or did it start after the 6-Day War? I remember clearly back in 1969, two years after the miraculous war, a comment on a newscast on how Jews couldn't just walk around in the newly reconquered territory of Yehuda and the Shomron without words from some "common tater" on the radio putting him down for it. A FULL TWO YEARS AFTER THE WAR.

Is this why the residents of Yehuda and the Shomron (Judea and Samaria) are under military rule all these years later, with the defenders' weaponry under the control of the army?

Was the Gaza Envelope in the same category as J&S, and we people behind the Green Line just didn't know it?

Is this why our government believes the words of Arabs over the words of Jews living in the Land of Israel — and why many Jews, especially those from the Shomron, an example being Amiram Ben Uliel, are behind bars for years for confessing their "crimes" under torture?

Is this why we are being charged at the International Court of Justice in The Hague as I'm writing this, with genocide of the very people who attempted it against us, and are still not finished with that?

Could all of the above be summarized in one word: DHIMMITUDE?

I could go on and on with my questions. But yesterday's haftarah, from Yehezkel (Ezekiel) 28, 25-26, foretells the end:

25 So says the Lord God: When I gather in the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they have been scattered, and I have been sanctified through them in the eyes of the nations, then shall they dwell on their land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob.
26 And they shall dwell upon it securely, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards and dwell securely when I execute judgments against all those who plunder them from all around them, and they shall know that I am the Lord their God."

May it happen quickly, and may G-d take His rightful place as King of the World, with Mashiah as His faithful servant!!!

Is the "Great Reset" happening NEXT WEEK??? plus how this might apply to ISRAEL and her covenant with HQB"H

17 Iyyar 5782, a Shmitah (God's Reset) Year |  י"ז אייר ה"תשפ"ב שנת שמיטה

32nd Day of the Omer | ל"ב לעומר

 UPDATES BELOW

What kind of reset do we want this Shmitah year?

I hope I'm only panicking. Somehow, I doubt it.

There doesn't seem to be any news directly from the WEF or any other media that is bound to them, but the opposition seems quite alarmed about what they see as nothing less than the handing over of what amounts to national sovereignty to the World Health Organization during their upcoming meeting on 22-28 May 2022 by no less than the President of the United States...

Not only the sovereignty of the United States, but of the whole UN constituency of 193 nations, no less.

This currently includes Israel.

(I feel betrayed as both an Israeli citizen ...and an American citizen. How could "the land of the free and the home of the brave" hand almost 100% of the world over to the "dictatorship of the oligarchy"??? My thought: If this handover goes through, the USA wasn't as advertised. God, help us.)

Snippet from HERE

How It Became Official

On January 18, 2022, with no public awareness, officials from the Biden Administration sent the World Health Organization these extensive amendments to strengthen WHO’s ability to unilaterally intervene into the affairs of nations merely suspected of having a “health emergency” of possible concern to other nations.4 The U.S. amendments cross out a critical existing restriction in the regulations: “WHO shall consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring…”5 By eliminating that, and other clauses (see below), all the shackles will be removed from the Director-General of WHO, enabling him to declare health emergencies at will.

Declaring health emergencies at will is no laughing matter. We have seen a prime example of that already, and have witnessed the taking over of issues far from health concerns with the plandemic.

These were temporary, but what's coming up is threatening to be permanent, if we don't ACT RIGHT NOW.

[NOTE: If you find any better evidence before next week, please let me know in the comments. Also, translation to HEBREW will be very helpful, even though the highest-up in our government do speak (and possibly read and write?) English. Israelis, whether English-language-haters or simply couldn't grasp English, need to know. It just takes me too long. Thanks in advance!]

If this is absolutely true, then our government has a choice it must make, and FAST:

Either give in to America and stay tied to her for practically eternity, or quit the UN immediately, before the vote.

If it's not willing to do the latter, we have no choice but to take down the foreign system of governance we have been subjected to for at least the last 74 years, and make room for our own Great Resetters:

God and His Mashiah.

NOW.

ABBA, HELP!

According to Rashi (Rabbi Shlomo Yitzhaki) in our current parasha, Behuqothai בחוקותי, we can spot those (both regular people and authorities above us) who intend to annul God's covenant with Israel.

It takes seven steps, the ones referred to in the text of  Vayikra (Leviticus) 26:15-18 that say:

...and if you will consider My statutes revolting, and if your being rejects My ordinances, so as not to perform all My commandments, to annul My covenant — then I, too, will do this to you: I will assign over you panic, and the wasting away, and the fever, causing your eyes to pine and your souls to feel anguish; you will sow your seed in vain, and your enemies will eat it. And I will direct My face against you, you will be struck down before your enemies; those who hate you will subjugate you — you will flee but there will be no one pursuing you. And if during these you will not heed Me, I will increase tormenting you, seven for your sins.

In particular, the summary of the following commentary is on Vayikra (Leviticus) 26:15, the "seven for your sins," specifically on the words to annul My covenant.* I have added the content in (parentheses) and put some text in CAPITAL LETTERS to clarify what I see to be issues in understanding.

What are the sins?

1. They do not study Torah (and how to perform it).

2. They do not perform Torah.

3. They hate those who (seek to) perform Torah.

4. They hate the (real) Torah scholars.

5. They prevent others from performing Torah (to any meaningful extent).

6. They renounce the commandments.

7. They renounce that which is ESSENTIAL, denying BELIEF IN GOD.

WHAT KIND OF WORLD DO WE WANT? AND WHO DO WE WANT RUNNING IT?

PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY'RE god...OR THE REAL GOD AND HIS REPRESENTATIVE???

(...and isn't it funny-strange, all this occurring during the OMER count of a SHMITAH year? Hint, hint.)

UPDATE:

The event in question is the Seventy Fifth [75th] World Health Assembly: Strengthening WHO preparedness for and response to health emergencies. The file with the proposed changes that will hand over the world's nations' sovereignty to the WHO from the hand of Joe Biden is within the Proposal for amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005)

Provisional agenda item 16.2 (13 pp.)

Read, note the changes and pray. They need to be shown that they are not the world's Sovereign, and we need to see His glory before it is too late.

No, I am not panicking. This is real.

Who is G-d's firstborn son? And more...

 24 Tevet 5782 | כ"ד טבת ה"תשפ"ב

Blogger's note: First of all, I should warn my gentle readers (and my not-so-gentle ones too😉) that what follows may seem, or even be, what I'm terming "religiously politically incorrect" for some of you. Nevertheless, I write with the hope that we all seek the truth, whether it be PC or not.

I do not imagine that only Jews read this blog. Perhaps most readers are, but not all.

And away we go...

According to a well-known law, or principle of Scripture, the Law of First Mention, one must find the first place where the question is answered. It will be the "simplest, most understandable reference from which the others build." (source)

The answer to our title question is in our previous parasha, Shemoth (the beginning of the book of Exodus), 4:22.

The context of this verse is a chapter where the Lord is commanding Moshe Rabbenu (Moses our Teacher) to go to Par'oh and speak with him about the matter of freeing the nation of Israel to go and worship Him in the midbar (wilderness. The specific detail of the celebration of G-d in the wilderness occurs in 5:1.).

A breakdown of the translation of the last three words in the Hebrew: The noun "b'chori" means "my firstborn," which is masculine, referring to "b'ni, "my son." "Is" is understood, and Israel is the object of the noun phrase, which in English is rendered "my firstborn son."

Does this mean that Jacob, who attained the name Israel in Bereshith (Genesis) 32:25-30,  is G-d's firstborn son?

No. The first thing we learn from the principle of the firstborn son of HQB"H is that it refers to a nation and not to a particular person from within that nation (or a person from within any other nation, for that matter).

I repeat: Israel, as presented in the context of the ending of Egyptian slavery, does not refer to Ya'aqov (Jacob), but to his progeny, the nation of Yisrael.

There are no two ways about it, and no other way to interpret it. Israel — the Jewish People — is named by G-d as His firstborn son.

My search for the law of first mention brought only Christian sites. I know that Chabad teaches this too (my mom went to Chabad events for quite some time, and she taught it to me); and I imagine that this is common-sense enough that others would do the same as well, and have come up with it on their own. This would especially apply to those who believe in the infallibility of the Word of G-d in its original language.

(Anyone who can clarify this for me, please feel free to use the comment section. Thanks in advance!)

The main point to remember here is that we do not deviate from what is learned in the first mention. We may learn more details and elaborations on it, but we may not turn away from what it essentially means and make it something else.

Those who seek to use this tool properly need to be sure it does not lead in a direction that may not be warranted. It would probably be best to use more than one Scriptural reference, to make sure there is no conflict. I am about to present one here, that Christians bring upon themselves because, for them, all roads lead to Otoh haIsh (Yoshke/the J man).

The source above, which I'm linking again here, gives an example in the first mention of blood, Hevel's (Abel's) blood at the hands of Kayin (Cain) in Bereshith (Genesis) 4:10, and ends up with the one we call Otoh haIsh (Yoshke/J). The path they took completely missed the verse we're discussing here, thus coming to conflicting conclusions, creating more questions than answers.

This constitutes a violation of the law of first mention because it basically wipes out a whole lot of Scripture that explains the concept of the son of G-d, as explained above and, I'm sure, elsewhere. Not to mention that their whole understanding of sacrifice is skewed, and the unmistakably human sacrifice of Yoshke "for the sins of the world" is expressly forbidden.

As my rabbi from the States told me many years ago, long before I made aliyah: It took haShem close to 2,000 years to wipe out the human sacrifice of ancient times, and Xianity brought it back.

Who knew?

R' Shimon Kessin firmly believes that both Christianity and Islam are above us today because we are still in violation of our obligation to love our fellow Jews. Listen here to the one on Christianity:

 ***

Official Israel proved this once again regarding a recent event in Dubai. A Jerusalem pavilion was created there, separate from the Israel pavilion — which presented Israel as a nondescript country, nothing particularly special — and labeled as belonging to "Palestine." Meaning, that Islam basically owns Jerusalem.

Did our Ministry of Foreign Affairs do or say anything about it? The big question I have is...

Is this an accident, or is it a secret policy of our government to allow our ownership and responsibility for Jerusalem, our ancient capital, to be disavowed?

This question needs to be answered openly, publicly and honestly. We need to know the state of our governance, whether the system we live under can still serve us or not, on many levels and many issues besides this one. Basically, we cannot allow this desecration of our name and reputation to continue. Not only that, but we must be sure that we are ruled by those who have our best interest as a nation at heart.

Will we serve G-d or not?

We must do teshuva.

Avi Abelow introduced the following video:

Israel’s Foreign Ministry paid over $20 million to have a pavilion at the global expo in Dubai that is expecting 25 million visitors from around the world. Yet, instead of inspiring and exciting expo visitors with what makes the Jewish state of Israel unique and enticing to all of humanity, Israel’s foreign experts dropped the ball, big time.

What bothers me more than the missed opportunity is the missing appreciation for their own heritage and homeland, that actually is what so many people around the world are so starving to experience on a visit to Israel.
