Living in Parashioth Bereshith & Noach 5776: R' Ephraim Sprecher

30 Tishrei 5776
Rosh Hodesh Alef Heshvan

For a few hours this morning until early afternoon, while it was still 29 Tishrei, I attended R' Sprecher's class once again with my husband and the guys - my last opportunity for a while. This time I audio-recorded a study filled with marvelous hiddushim (revelations based on text within the written Torah) and commentary. Some of the highlights:

  • How are angels created and what role do they play? You make the call!
  • What does Qayin (Cain)'s grandson Lemech's speech to his wives Ada and Zillah, almost 6,000 years ago, have to do with today?
  • The deeper meaning of the name Hava and her real mission (easily applicable to this blog)!
  • What did the movie Ghost get right about death and dying?
  • R' Sprecher discusses an event that came before the current wave of intifada-style terrorism in Israel...let's just say he believes it isn't a coincidence.
  • And much, much more!
Enjoy! Hodesh tov!

thank you for the latest in Rabbi Sprecher's shiurim.

the terror has now graduated from knives to guns; a shooting aboard a 78 bus in Armon HaNetziv, injured 8 people. Also there was an incident on Malchei Yisrael and Rashi St. in Geula!? No where is safe. No arab is trustworthy. One must cling to HaShem in all ways.

the govt must banish all arabs from workplaces and close entry to Yerushalayim, as best they can. This way when one sees an arab (and they ALL carry knives), and one can usually tell an arab by his looks and clothing, they can be alerted to a possible incident and prepare. If Israelis obey Mayor Barkat, they can take them out quickly. Road blocks and security checks at major intersections; difficult but necessary. Also maybe a huge explosion in E Jerusalem and in Gaza might curtail some.
I'm staying in Rehavia, close to home, just in case.

I would also add, that Yaalon be warned to abandon his vendetta against 'settler youth', release those in detention, and focus his warped view on the arabs or be threatened with dismissal. Definitely arrest Zoabi, and any arab MK that attempts entry to Har HaBayit.

OK, now to your post. About the 'event', i doubt this and Har Habayit was the catalyst for this onslaught. Its much bigger than that. I believe it is the ISIS making inroads into Israel, together with Hamas; they are creating the impetus for a huge religious war. I don't think 'we' can stop them without help from HaShem. So far, it doesn't seem people/govt is grasping the ikkar to this onslaught. The arabs are being trained how to subdue a person while stabbing them. If one sees how they attack, it is very calculated in their approach, after that insanity is in play. Again, they are being trained how to do this. Many a policeman is really caught off guard, because they don't realize this. An online training video in how to thwart a stabber actually shows the opposite maneuver to overtake him.

The article on sovereignty (on Har HaBayit, Judea and Samaria) is so very relative and accurate, but no one in the govt is educated or brave enough to understand this and apply it political decisions. It is the main answer, for then we can assert our right to expel any arab(s) that don't abide by our laws. But this is only the first step. We then welcome Moshiach.

I don't want to change my blog post because i am anticipating Moshiach and people will need this information.

Well, it happened:

TO AVERT THE DECREE

I know that each Jew (not sure if only religious Jews) has an Malach (angel) who follows us all the time. They have been known to prevent accidents from happening. A friend experienced such a thing. And when I was in DC I also had a strange encounter with someone I did NOT know who "told me" I was going in the right direction (spiritually) and to keep doing what I was doing. Go figure. Never met the 'person' before or after that.

I was delving into my Jewish heritage at the time.

Ok, here's another comment.

This should be highlighted as the deeper message of your post:

"Israel cannot survive by accommodating a lynch mob. Only by having the courage to defy it. When the international community at the behest of the Muslim lynch mob dictates the parameters of Israel's survival, it must expand those parameters by pushing through them to the other side. If they want to recognize terrorists, then we kill those terrorists. If they want to break the Gaza blockade, then we retake Gaza. If they want to unilaterally create a Palestinian state, then we annex those territories. Accommodation is a noose. Defiance is the air of freedom. Every time Israel retreats, it is condemned for it. When it advances, it is condemned for it also, but its freedom of action expands."
Said so eloquently by SultanKnish.

This actually should be on a giant billboard at the entrance to Yerushalayim :-)
