Thoughts on Israel's future, as 2026 elections approach...

 As the 2026 Israeli elections approach, I have a suggestion that would sweep all the candidates off their feet, and maybe us commoners as well. Perhaps it would even show how far a state of Israel has to go before it would actually do something to earn its keep:

Take the Ottoman land laws off the books, to the last one. 

Then replace them with appropriate Israeli (i.e., Jewish) ones. These would include, to start with, Judea and Samaria as part and parcel of Israel.

 Does Turkey still rule here? The Ottoman Empire, alternatively called Turkey, was completely gone by 1924 according to Wikipedia. This was more than two decades before the rise of the state of Israel. So, why does the Israeli political system act as though these laws are still relevant in the country that is meant primarily for the Jewish People, after close to 2,000 years of exile? 

This should have been done the day after the State of Israel was declared. 

Why is this issue never brought up during runs for office?  

Are the powers-that-should-not-be afraid that Mashiach ben David might show up?
