From October 7th Horror to a Torah Scroll
It's a beautiful example of how a community that was hit by great tragedy was able to be revived by a Torah wedding and a new beit knesset. It took place in Nahal Oz, one of the communities that was viciously attacked on October Seventh, 2023/Simchat Torah 5784, and since this video was taken, has a synagogue as well as a brand new Torah.
I could not find anything on the Internet about the uniqueness of a Torah wedding, so I am taking on the work of describing it: Carrying a freshly written Torah on a wagon or something similar in a parade with a lot of people going with it through the streets of the neighborhood of the village, town or city where it will be read out loud, and the calligrapher who painstakingly hand-wrote the Torah (called a sofer) even helping a number of neighbors fill in, for a small donation each, one of the final letters of it before it is read. It symbolizes the reenactment of the wedding of the Torah to the Jewish People.
Without even thinking about it, I found one thing about which the Internet may have no knowledge. Until today.

This short video says so much because most of our people are sadly secular
and know so very little of who and what we are. The first thing that all Jews
must remember is that we are from one family and we alone have the only covenant with Hashem, G-D Almighty. We are a people, a nation, a family, with our own DNA, who are commanded by our Creator to live by His Laws of our holy Torah which was given to us as a gift by Hashem, the G-D of all creation.
When we veer away from our holy Torah where it warns us to obey His Laws
and to learn from our holy Sages their teachings and commentaries, sadly, our haters rise up against us as a wakeup call for us to remind us who we are and what our mission is. Let us never forget that we are blessed and our Redemption is very close at hand but we need to return to our roots.
Then the rest of righteous humanity will also be blessed and we will have a
world full of the knowledge of Hashem and pure goodness.

au contraire, please give most Israelis, now since that Simchat Torah, credit of having a better connection to their Jewishness than prior. And esp. since the testimonials of the kidnapped members of those communities. Most could be called awakening and learning to our traditions i.e. traditional observance, while working toward Halacha. We need to be kinder to them. The truly adamant secularists are glued to the erev rav, a minority group led by anti God and anti Torah, thst is being fought against with greater and stronger efforts of the Bnei Torah and their ‘leaders’. We are witnessing the Koach Ha Torah strengthening in opposition to all the “Anti’s”. This WAR is being fought in the streets of Am Yisrael.
